J.P.’s story: ‘We are out of options’
If you smoke marijuana, you might be labelled a stoner or criminal. But a number of people across Ohio want a different title: patient.
Ohio could soon become the 25th state to legalize medical marijuana either through a law, a constitutional amendment or possibly, confusingly, both. This movement comes after years of pleas from people who say marijuana would help treat their cancer, multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder or seizures. Some have tried debilitating narcotics and want another option.
