Farmer Info:
This OhioCannabis.com Farmers Cup is the first-ever competition for Home-Growers in Ohio!
The OhioCannabis.com Farmers Cup is aimed to identify, and award the best Home-Growers in Ohio. Judging will take place across a range of different categories, all to be judged by other Ohioans.
This is a competition for Growers, by Growers, and is only open to Ohio Home-Growers!
A lot of amazing Ohioans have been putting in the work to craft their own home-grown cannabis, and this is the competition for you to show off your skills!
You can compete in the following Main Categories:
- Outdoor Flower
- Indoor Flower
- Concentrates (Solventless only, but CO2 extraction is allowed – just no combustibles)
Each main category will have 3 Sub-Categories of:
- Indica
- Sativa
- Hybrids
Each sample will be scored 1-5 in the following Categories:
- Looks
- Smell
- Taste
- Effects
All submissions will be blind judged. We want this to be as fair and transparent as possible.
You will be given an Entry # sticker for each submission when you turn your samples in. Please also include strain info on them. You can write on these bags with permanent marker. You can purchase the Kraft pouches here: Grove Bags Kraft Pouches
We will use your entry # to track everything internally. Only JohnnyCannabis will have access to this information and he will not be a Judge or submitting any entries.
This is a Home-Growers dream to finally have a chance to show off your skills and compete against other growers! As a winner, your name will ring across the ears of thousands of people across Ohio!
Good Luck to all Home-Growers!

You will be scoring each sample using a judging scale of 1-5 stars.
There will be a handful of categories you will need to individually score per sample.
Please be honest and thorough in your review. You have plenty of time and don’t have to rush. Try getting through 1 sample per day so you can experience the full effects of that particular sample.
Try to pay special attention to the following areas:
- Understanding terpene profiles (e.g. the difference between an OG strain and a Tangie strain)
- Identifying key aesthetic traits (like bud structure, color profiling, etc.)
- Assessing tactile nuances (such as cannabis density, concentrate consistency)
Happy Judging!
