White Widow Auto in DWC
Ok so I just started a new grow, and finally got the image upload feature to work.
Time to start showing some things off!
I germinated a single White White Auto I got from a vendor at one of my Farmers Markets named Pop's Baked Beans. The label says these are powered by Geno Farms.
I think I'm on roughly week 3 since popping these all together.
I just started adding nutrients a week ago, and it's already exploding.
I just got the Current Culture Solo 8 Deep Water Culture (DWC) setup going last night, and today I setup the chiller.
Water Parameters:
520 ppms
67*
5.8 PH
Running an AC Infinity 2x3 tent with their 12x12 light and controller.
I can't say enough good stuff about AC Infinity. I'm blown away by the innovation & quality this company puts out.
I just redid my tent, so I have to shorten the exhaust tube and tighten up some wires.
Running a 1/10th HP Ecoplus chiller
Very awesome. I'm not well versed in DWC or any hydro methods. It always seems daunting to me, so but someday I will have to do a test run.  Let us know how the AC infinity controller ends up working out. If I'm not mistaken you can use other lights with it as well(sort of). I was planning this winter to upgrade to their 8" fan with that controller and my mars hydro light.
I would not recommend DWC for beginners. There is no room for error and it is not forgiving like soil.
But I'm sick of lugging soil/coco in and out and you get crazy growth in DWC.
I have the Blue Lab Guardian PH/Temp/PPM monitor and I couldn't do it without it. You have to know what your water parameters are at all times.
Same goes for the chiller. You really need to keep things below 72*, with 67* being ideal. The color the water, the more oxygenated it is.
Problem is both of these pieces of equipment aren't cheap. But buy once, cry once.

I also suggest downloading the PPFD App to help dial your lights in. I just downloaded it a few days ago and also bought the bluetooth Uni-T Lux Meter to pair with it to get really accurate readout of PPFD/PAR/LUX

After 2 weeks in DWC, the growth is incredible!
This is just a week later from the picture in my previous post.
Everything is dialed in perfectly.
I did a water change Sunday and my water parameters are now:
1200 ppms
67*
6.1 PH
Huge growth and just exploding in the DWC!
I've also setup the SCROG and started bending it and opening it up so the lower nodes get more light
The main top already turned up towards the light after just 1 day
Time for a new water change today, I've been doing them every 10 days. 7 days is really ideal, but I can push it since I'm using a chiller & UC Roots which sterilizes the water.
